Hi guys! Rainy days, endless coffee shops, and ferry boats gliding across Seattle's Elliott Bay, what can be more perfect? If you're one who smiles when it's raining and enjoys a warm cappuccino every now and then, this city is your dream come true! Seattle is a unique city with thriving businesses and relaxed people. Each surrounding city area has a distinctive stye! Seattle is very similar to San Francisco. I would say that Pike Place is the Fishermans Warf of Seattle. The fish market and crowded streets near the bay's Public Market couldn't be more alike. Much of Seattle is mountainous, therefore you will run into many hilly streets. "Roller Coaster Roads" is what I call them! What I found most amazing, however, was the journey from Renton to Bellevue, then over to Seattle. I had no idea that there was an island in the middle of these popular cities. Mercer Island, a gorgeous piece of land occupied by private boats and extravagant homes, sits directly in the heart of Washington's busy cities. Over the bridge, or through the tunnel, getting to and from cities is quite the experience! Seattle has plenty to offer for such a small city. Many successful businesses have branched out from this small, yet well-admired city. I would say that Starbucks and Peet's Coffee are the Ghirardelli's of Seattle. Similar to San Fransisco's love for restaurants, Seattle has a joy for cafes!
Macrina also featured their autumn menu! I enjoyed fall pastries including a pumpkin pecan bar and an orange pastry, which was drenched in a sweet syrup! For more details about my experiences from Macrina Bakery, The London Plane, and Issaquah Coffee Company, visit my Brands Page!
Driving through Seattle is very beautiful. I often saw the volcano, Mt. Rainier in the distance as I drove through forrest trees and fall leaves. In Bellevue, I visited the famous Vivo 53! There, I enjoyed the most amazing wood oven baked pizza and extreme signature ice cream sundae! If you're looking for the perfect night out, Vivo 53 is the perfect night spot! Seattle is very original. With unique businesses, magnificent scenery, and relaxed residents, this city is far from ordinary! A delightful city with the greatest bakeries and coffee shops! I look forward for exploring this city again! Love always, Mia.
