Vivo 53 offers brunch, lunch, and dinner. However, dinner hours are much more enjoyable. Walking down the streets of Bellevue is an upscale experience with restaurants and lights along the town's popular night-life area. While visiting Seattle, Vivo 53 was one of the first places I visited. Straight from the airport at around 9pm, my friends took me to see the Bellevue night life and we enjoyed dinner and dessert at Vivo 53. You may be wondering what the story is behind the name "Vivo 53". Why the number 53? Fifty three is the number of attempts it took the artisans to create the perfect Italian dough of ideal crispiness and "incredible" flavor.
Candy ExplosionI would describe this sundae as a Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory wonder! Rotating ice cream with popular chocolate & candy brands! M&M's, Heath Bar, chocolate pretzels, rock candy (a popular Insane Sundae delight), chocolate peanut butter brownie and swirl lollipop! Topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle! Holy SpumoniI call it an Italian delicacy with French inspiration. Spumoni ice cream, macaroons, crushed pistachios, maraschino cherries, rock candy, and swirl lollipop! Topped with sprinkles and a whipped cream! The NeapolitanA classic! Neapolitan ice cream sandwich, chocolare shavings, maraschino cherries, Neapolitan ice cream, and swirl lollipop! Topped with sprinkles and a chocolate drizzle! Hazelnut SeduzioneWhile I was in Italy, I visited a hazelnut farm where they made real chocolate-hazelnut spread! This Nutella inspired creation reminded me of my experience purchasing a jar of this delicous nutty, chocolate spread in Italy! Nutella cheesecake, chopped hazelnuts, Italian cheesecake ice cream, dark chocolate shavings, and swirl lollipop! Topped with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle! This is the sundae I enjoyed while visiting Vivo 53! However, I did not realize that it would be mostly strawberry flavored due to the Italian cheesecake ice cream. Nonetheless, an Insanely sweet delight! Vivo 53 is an Italian classic! True innovation with the most impressive artisan menu! Love Always, Mia.
