My "once in a while" coffee adventure to experience new cafés was enlightened on a recent visit to the Farmers Market at The Grove in Los Angeles. I discovered a small, yet delightful granita bar, "Zia Valentina". For those who do not know, a granita is a delicious Sicilian flavored ice drink. Traveling through Italy, my favorite was a grapefruit granita, which definitely cooked me off in the summer. In LA, however, the caffe latte granita is always number one. The Story of Zia Valentina? Two sisters were inspired by their Zia (Aunt) Valentina, to create farm-inspired recipes. If they could bring such Italian-inspired coffee delights to a little Farmers Market stand in Los Angeles, then we could sure create our own coffee delights at home! Here are a few tea & coffee bar essentials for your everyday gourmet boost! French Press
